A Night In The Dark

Telstra Dome carpark then onto the victory room
Client: Trumpet Events
Urban Cirque created an underground circus for an unsuspecting corporate crowd. The valet parking was deliberately messed up as Melbourne parkour provided spontaneous acrobatics for the waiting drivers. The crowd was ushered through the car park to an awaiting dancefloor where they where soon surrounded by 11 blaring Harley motorcycles lighting up the dim space. In front of an already owed crowd Urban Cirque provided a modern day circus showcasing over 80 performers. Matt showed again his talent for assimilating acts of different genres including Rhythmic Gymnasts with Hula Hoopers, Hip-Hop dancers with Parkour, there was a world record double UV Globe swallowing act, Adagio, German Wheel and more. South American drummers the led the crowd flanked by showgirls and dancers on a tour through the Dome to the Victory room where they where met with a custom Choreographed Fire Show.
Urban Cirque revisited A Night In The Dark in 2009 creating a led light show of twirlers and hoopers, Fire wings and pyrotechnics as dancers created a lighthouse effect with hand held theatre lights.
