Matthew Hills is Urban Cirque’s Director and Choreographer. 

He has been in the performance and Artistic industry for over 20 years founding Urban Cirque in 2007. Matthew has produced, written, directed, stage managed, stage designed, acted, sung and danced in shows across the world. During this time Matthew has been based mainly in Europe and Melbourne, Australia.

His abilities in sourcing and integrating different styles of performance, unique sense of staging, broad range of artistic ability and the community spirit Matthew creates amongst performers, elevates shows to a spectacular connectedness with the audience.  This has seen his latest venture “Urban Cirque” rising to acclaim over many years.

Performing to acclaim abroad inspired Matthew to come home to Australia to showcase the amazing world-class talent we have to offer.
